Retreat

Animated with ink and paper, then scanned for coloring, editing and some finishing touches, this short film was the result of my final project in the Classical Animation course at Vancouver Film School.

Its creation was a deeply rewarding journey, that offered hands-on experience with every stage of the animation pipeline.

Animal Happiness Episode 1: "Rabbit's Feet"

This short, another project from the Classical Animation course at Vancouver Film School, explored a shift to digital techniques.

Produced using Adobe Flash and featuring sound editing entirely managed by the student (using a provided sound bank), the project emphasized storytelling through cut-out animation. It would also require asset creation and basic rigging to effectively convey the narrative.

Minotaur's Free Time

From the 3D Animation and Visual Effects course at Vancouver Film School, this short film applied the necessary skills for the realization of a complete animation production, now in a 3D format. It covered modeling, rigging, lighting and animation, as well as any other essential steps.

The film was primarily created using Autodesk Maya, with its final editing completed in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
