Monica Toy
Cut-Out animation (Toon Boom Harmony and Adobe Flash) for the Monica Toy web and TV series. The full episode was handled by the Animator, including Rig creation/editing, scene layout, blocking, animation and rendering. In some occasions, the Animator would also develop the complete pre-production phase: scriptwriting, storyboarding and storyreel creation.
As a spin-off of the popular Monica and Friends franchise, Monica Toy is a web and TV series characterized by its distinctive chibi, "toy art" style. Known for its short, dialogue-free episodes and surreal sense of humor, the episodes are designed to be universally accessible, relying on visual storytelling and expressive character animation to convey its narratives and explore relatable situations, while using the diverse cast from the original comics.
Studio: Mauricio de Sousa Productions.
